плитка  [PLIT-ka] (feminine noun) – tiles

Рабочие положили плитку в ванной. = The workers have put up tiles in the bathroom.

Пол в коридоре выложен плиткой. = The floor in the hallway is tiled.

 

Unilke in English, the word is uncountable (isn't used in plural).
