шмотки - stuff, clothes (26th July 2012)

шмотки  [SHMOT-ki] (plural noun) - clothes, belongings, stuff

Ольга всё жалуется, что у неё нет денег, а сама накупила себе шмоток. = Olga keeps complaining that she has no money while she's bought lots of clothes for herself.

Забирай свои шмотки и катись отсюда. = Take your stuff and get out.

 

This word is only used in INFORMAL Russian and has a negative connotation.
