брякнуть - to blunder out, to blurt out (4th August 2012)

брякнуть [bryak-NUT'] (perfective verb) - to blunder out, to blurt out (to utter something stupidly or thoughtlessly)

"Вот дурак!" - не подумав, брякнул Павел. = "What an idiot!" - Pavel blurted out without thinking.

 Я боюсь брать его с собой. Ещё брякнет что-нибудь! = I'm afraid to take him with me. He can say something stupid.
