полтора  [pal-ta-RA] (number) – one and a half

Мы жили в России полтора года. = We lived in Russia for a year and a half.

Мальчик съел полтора яблока. = The boy ate an apple and a half.


We use the Genitive Case Singular (родительный падеж) after "полтора".
