ботинки - shoes

ботинки  [ba-TEEN-ki] (plural noun) – shoes, boots

Надевай ботинки и пошли. = Put on your shoes and let's go.

Он снял ботинки и надел тапочки. = He took off his shoes and put on the slippers.

 

The word "ботинки" usually refers to dress shoes for men and ankle boots for women, as well as hiking boots. 

 

Singular: ботинок (masculine).

надеть ботинки = to put on shoes

снять ботинки = to take off shoes

носить ботинки = to wear shoes
