flashcards.jpgYou’ve certainly heard of the flashcards method of learning vocabulary. You get a pair of scissors, cut little pieces of paper (flashcards), and write a Russian word on one side and its English translation on the other side. First you look at the words in Russian and try to remember what they mean. Then you turn your flashcards round, look at the translations and try to remember the Russian words. If there’s a word that you have difficulty to remember, you don’t put it at the end of the pack, but in the middle, so that you meet it more often and end up learning it. Old like the world, but effective.

The good news is you can put your scissors away: the flashcards exist on the net now. You just turn on the computer, click on the link and learn your words… Here I offer you some common vocabulary like numbers, ordinals, animals etc, but if you become my student, you’ll get your personalised flashcards after each lesson. It saves your time and your vocabulary grows every day!
