чувак  [choo-VAK] (masculine noun) – dude, man, guy

А кто этот чувак? Ты его раньше здесь видел? = Who is that guy? Have you seen him here before?

У тебя что, чувак, совсем крыша поехала? =  Dude, are you nuts?

Под каблуком - under (someone's) thumb

Под каблуком  = under (someone's) thumb, under (someone's) total control

Муж у неё под каблуком. = Her husband is under her thumb.

Нельзя жить под каблуком у тёщи. = It isn't possible to live under your mother-in-law's thumb.

This expression is normally used about women controlling men and not the other way round. "Каблук" is a heel, so literally it means "under (someone's) heel".
